SCOTUS strikes down Stolen Valor Act

What a day!  First the Supreme Court upholds Obamacare and says that the Individual Mandate is actually a tax and congress can levy taxes.  Well, that was crushing news until my wife reminded me that taxes can be repealed and if Obama is voted out in November that can be the first order of business.  That made me feel better.  But then, I read the following article and had a rough time believing the 9 members of our nations highest court would make a decision that essentially says that the heroism of our American fighting men doesn’t really matter.  What have we turned into as a nation?  Is morality and honor dead?

The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a federal law called the Stolen Valor Act which prohibits a person from falsely claiming that he has been awarded a military honor.
